Support for the preferential lending program for agricultural producers will be further strengthened by allocating additional funds from the federal budget in the amount of over 10 billion rubles. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin, has signed a decree on this decision, as reported on the official government website.

These additional funds will be used to subsidize preferential loans provided to agricultural enterprises for the production and processing of agricultural products.

“This form of support allows farmers to increase the production of agricultural raw materials and food,” the official statement notes.

In total, around 300 billion rubles were allocated for subsidizing such loans in 2024. Additional financial resources were borrowed from funds allocated in the federal budget for the development of agriculture.
