Oryol Region and Russian Federal Agency for Fishery have signed an agreement to develop fisheries and protect aquatic bioresources.

In the building of the regional administration, an agreement on cooperation with the branch of the Federal Center for Integrated Arctic Research of the Russian Federation "VNIRO" has been concluded. Joint programs on the protection and use of water resources, scientific research in the field of fisheries, and the creation of an educational cluster are planned.

On February 14, an agreement was signed in the regional administration building.

The agreement was signed by Aleksey Vladimirovich Myshkin, Head of the Freshwater Fisheries Branch of the Russian State Scientific Center of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "VNIRO" ("VNIIPRKh").

According to the agreement, comprehensive plans, joint programs and activities will be developed aimed at the protection, reproduction and efficient use of aquatic biological resources, as well as their natural habitat in water bodies.

In addition, cooperation is planned in the field of fundamental and applied scientific research related to the development of the fisheries complex.

The plans also provide for cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere, including the creation of a scientific and educational cluster dedicated to aquatic bioresources and aquaculture, as well as the organization of thematic excursions.
