Rosrybolovstvo plans to increase the total allowable catch (TAC) in 2026 in the internal sea waters, shelf, and exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation by 61.1 thousand tons, to 3.65 million tons. The catch of pollock, herring, cod, and squid will be increased. In 2025, the catch of several fish species in various subzones will also increase.
