Parallel loan capital market

a credit market that periodically arises in parallel with the traditionally functioning loan capital market. There are several varieties of it: unregulated credit market in countries with tight credit relations; commercial and industrial market; over-the-counter securities market. Basically, such a market operates in the form of direct mutual lending by companies to each other, both in money and through the issuance and sale of short-term securities. Another form of such a market is over-the-counter turnover.
