Issuing bank

an issuing institution endowed with a monopoly right to issue money, as a rule, the central (national) bank of the country. In the function of E.b. includes the regulation of money circulation, credit and the exchange rate, the storage of official gold and foreign exchange reserves. In the Russian Federation, the only E.b. is the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
